Traveling Phlebotomist and Medical Technician - Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced Medical Technician/Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team at our Deer Park, TX site for a full-time position

- Ability to work independently
- Ability to demonstrate: organizational skills, efficiency in all task and attention to detail
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical information.
- Ability to effectively present information, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to use computer and telephone.
- Knowledge of current diagnostic tests, their functions, and normal results.
- Has consistently demonstrated service-oriented performance.
- Must adhere to the service expectations of CORE, LLC.
- Adheres to all CORE, LLC policies and procedures.
- Adheres to departmental Quality Assurance procedures.
- Obtains basic history, and medical information, and takes vital signs.
- Administers intramuscular injections under authorization and supervision of physician in accordance with State of Louisiana law and prevailing CORE, LLC agreements and protocols.
- Performs collection of vital signs, Performs visual acuity and color testing.
- Performs urine specimen collection following DOT regulations and/or chain of custody requirements.
- Performs 12 lead EKGs.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Current National Phlebotomy Certification (strongly preferred)
- Current CPR/BLS Certification (preferred)
- Pass DISA Drug and Alcohol Screening
- TWIC Card (preferred)
Basic Orientation Plus from Alliance Safety Council (preferred)
Class D/Chauffeur's Driver's License (strongly preferred or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire)
Must have available transportation with up-to-date insurance coverage
