We’re on the lookout for experienced, compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team in Deer Park, supporting a 16
-year-old male with complex behaviours. If you thrive on building strong relationships and providing person-centred, high-quality support, it will be great to hear from you.
- Ongoing paid training in high intensity supports, including behaviour management
- A passionate, supportive leadership team that’s always got your back
- Opportunities to grow your skills and experience
- Provide person-centred, high-quality support in line with individual support plans
- Support a client with high intensity needs, including behaviour management
- Assist with personal care and daily living tasks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date progress notes
- Work collaboratively with families and other professionals
- Has experience supporting people with disability and/or complex behaviours
- Is empathetic, reliable, and emotionally intelligent
- Can build trust and strong rapport with clients and families
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Stays calm under pressure and is a confident decision-maker
- Brings resilience, reliability, and a genuine commitment to care
- Certificate IV in Disability (preferred) or a related qualification
- Employee Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Right to work in Australia
