Mechanical Drafter

Modern Packaging seeks a Mechanical Drafter responsible for supporting the Mechanical Engineering group with basic designs and documentation.

• Create 2D documentation with appropriate dimensions and tolerances from 3D model.
• Basic design work under engineering or management supervision.
• Prepare proper bills of material based on design.
• Create and manage the assembly documentation for all machine projects on the production floor.
• Support Technical Writing Personnel with creation of manuals.
• Assist Aftermarket team with identifying components on equipment, updating manual drawings, and updating Bill of Materials.

These components, along with local and national compensation survey data, contribute to determining a candidate’s potential starting rate of pay. Total compensation includes your base salary, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan with company match.

There is no waiting period for benefits – you are eligible on your first day of employment. Base Salary Range: $30‑$40 per hour.

1+ years experience Mechanical Drafting.

• Experience working with Autodesk Inventor preferred.

• High School Diploma.
• Technical Trade School or Associate Degree preferred.
