The Blueprint

The Director, Cybersecurity and Networks is responsible for shaping and executing the enterprise‑wide cybersecurity and network infrastructure vision across the Tridel Group of Companies. This role requires close collaboration with senior executives, cross‑functional technology teams, and a diverse ecosystem of external partners. The Director will champion innovation, drive operational excellence, and elevate Tridel’s cybersecurity resilience and risk management maturity.

As the primary point of contact for all cybersecurity and networking matters, the Director is expected to demonstrate exceptional communication, strategic foresight, execution quality, attention to detail, and stakeholder engagement. This role also plays a pivotal role in steering Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) initiatives.

A Glimpse into Your Daily Activities
  • Lead and evolve cybersecurity operations, ensuring proactive threat intelligence, detection, and incident response.
  • Provide strategic oversight and mentorship to internal IT teams and external consultants managing firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security enforcement.
  • Serve as a key advisor on secure architecture and network design across enterprise projects.
  • Influence vendor relationships through security assessments and providing sign‑off on solutions.
  • Oversee the performance, scalability, and reliability of Tridel’s network infrastructure, aligning with long‑term business goals.
  • Provide support, escalation, and incident management, ensuring timely resolution of network‑related issues.
  • Foster collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors to maintain secure, high‑availability infrastructure.
  • Manage strategic relationships with vendors and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs).
  • Ensure enterprise‑wide alignment with cybersecurity standards, regulatory compliance, and risk frameworks.
  • Partner with internal teams to meet Cyber Security Insurance qualification criteria annually.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure design documentation for Deltera site‑specific projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Lead Tridel’s information security program, including the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory shifts to maintain a forward‑looking security posture.
  • Initiate and maintain information security awareness programs across the organization.
  • Design and implement governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to proactively manage IT risk.
  • Architect and lead Tridel’s IT disaster recovery strategy, including business impact assessments and contingency planning.
The Architect of Your Success
  • Post‑secondary education in Information Technology or related field.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, COBIT, CCNA, CCNP; additional certifications (e.g., VCP, MCSE/MCITP, Cisco Data Centre, HP/Aruba) are considered assets.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in designing, operating, and optimizing core IT infrastructure, with a focus on networking, Windows server environments, storage, and virtualization.
  • Proven analytical and diagnostic capabilities with a strategic mindset.
