Dental Hygienist- Dedham, MA

Overview

Licensed dental hygienist needed for our private general dental practice for Mondays 8a-5p, Tuesdays 1p-8p, Wednesdays 1p-8p, Thursdays 1-5p and Fridays 8a-12p (open to someone who wants all the available days or some). We are a family practice that provides comprehensive dental care to our patients. We are a fun, easy-going office that takes care of its employees and has multiple outings a year together.

We are seeking a candidate who is self‑motivated, proactive, reliable and willing to complete daily tasks with a team approach. We are flexible and open to hiring a hygienist with the possibility of adding additional hours in the future.

• Collect medical and dental histories from patients
• Chart dental conditions based on dentist’s observations and evaluations
• Sterilize dental instruments and tools
• Instruct patients of all ages on proper dental hygiene and care
• Take radiographs

• Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene required (Bachelor’s preferred)
• Current state license required
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Option for overtime
• Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules
• Current CPR certification required
