Position: MD/DO General Dermatology (Decorah, IA)

Overview

The Gundersen Health System, based in La Crosse, Wisconsin, is seeking a BC/BE dermatologist to work at its Decorah, IA location. Decorah is a beautiful community located in Northeast Iowa, about 90 minutes from La Crosse, WI. You will join a well-established dermatology team comprised of general, cosmetic, surgical dermatologists and dedicated Mohs surgeons. Our full-time position offers a four-day workweek;

if less than full time is desired, we have a place for you.

Responsibilities

Your practice will consist of general medical dermatology with opportunities for dermatologic surgery (regular and cosmetic) within one of the nation  largest multi-specialty group practices. Services currently offered include MOHS Surgery, Photodynamic Therapy, PUVA, Broad and Narrow Band UVB, Vascular Laser Treatment and multiple IPLs.

Qualifications and Requirements

Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible in the stated area of medicine. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system.

Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is a cornerstone of our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.
