The Human Resources Manager is a strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing and executing all core HR functions for an organization of 300+ employees. This role partners closely with executive leadership and people managers to drive employee engagement, ensure compliance, and support business objectives through effective people practices. The ideal candidate brings deep, multi-functional HR experience and a proven ability to scale HR processes in a growing or complex organization.

Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Leadership
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy
  • Align HR initiatives with business goals and organizational priorities
  • Lead change management initiatives and support organizational growth
Employee Relations & Performance Management
  • Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
  • Develop and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and coaching
  • Advise managers on best practices for employee engagement, retention, and development
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Oversee full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and improve hiring effectiveness
  • Implement workforce planning and succession planning strategies
Compensation, Benefits & Total Rewards
  • Manage compensation structures, job evaluations, and salary administration
  • Oversee benefits programs, vendor relationships, and annual renewals
  • Ensure competitive and compliant total rewards offerings
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook
  • Oversee audits, reporting, and recordkeeping requirements
HR Operations & Systems
  • Manage HRIS, payroll coordination, and employee data integrity
  • Streamline HR processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency
  • Develop and track HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making
Learning & Development
  • Identify training needs and implement leadership and employee development programs
  • Support career development and succession planning initiatives
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and accountability
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated responsibility across multiple HR functions
  • Proven experience supporting organizations with 300+ employees
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
  • Experience leading or significantly contributing to HR strategy and organizational initiatives
  • Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems
