The Human Resources Manager is a strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing and executing all core HR functions for an organization of 300+ employees. This role partners closely with executive leadership and people managers to drive employee engagement, ensure compliance, and support business objectives through effective people practices. The ideal candidate brings deep, multi-functional HR experience and a proven ability to scale HR processes in a growing or complex organization.
Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Leadership- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy
- Align HR initiatives with business goals and organizational priorities
- Lead change management initiatives and support organizational growth
- Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Develop and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and coaching
- Advise managers on best practices for employee engagement, retention, and development
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt roles
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and improve hiring effectiveness
- Implement workforce planning and succession planning strategies
- Manage compensation structures, job evaluations, and salary administration
- Oversee benefits programs, vendor relationships, and annual renewals
- Ensure competitive and compliant total rewards offerings
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook
- Oversee audits, reporting, and recordkeeping requirements
- Manage HRIS, payroll coordination, and employee data integrity
- Streamline HR processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency
- Develop and track HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making
- Identify training needs and implement leadership and employee development programs
- Support career development and succession planning initiatives
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and accountability
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated responsibility across multiple HR functions
- Proven experience supporting organizations with 300+ employees
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to HR strategy and organizational initiatives
- Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems
