Clinical Lab Scientist

Overview

The Clinical Lab Scientist is responsible for maintaining and calibrating laboratory instruments, conducting quality control and proficiency testing, and performing patient testing across all laboratory areas, while ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive patient health information (PHI).

Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment; all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date.

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments.
• Conduct quality control and proficiency testing.
• Perform patient testing across all laboratory areas.
• Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive patient health information (PHI).

• 36 hours per week – Second Shift
• 11:30 AM – 11:30 PM
• Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
• MT (ASCP) or Equivalent
• BLS/CPR Certification
• Associate's degree in chemical, physical, biological or laboratory science;
  Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous experience in chemistry, hematology, microbiology and immunohematology preferred

• Associate's degree in chemical, physical, biological or laboratory science;
  Bachelor's degree preferred

• MT (ASCP) or Equivalent
• BLS/CPR Certification
