* ** Warehouse General Laborer - Decatur, IL
** This is a full-time, hourly level position.

*
* Position Summary:

** We have an opening at facility in Decatur, IL for a Warehouse General Laborer.

*
* Job Responsibilities:

*** Safely and efficiently work with loaders and unloaders to position product where needed
* Perform various warehouse duties
* Stage orders to outbound shipments
* Periodically operate a forklift
* Housekeeping duties
* Assist with damage control
* Organize pallets
* Report all injuries, illnesses, near misses, damage or other issues timely
** Job Requirements
*** Actively participate in all ADM required Safety, Environmental, and Quality Assurance programs
* Reading and writing skills sufficient to comprehend/complete a variety of documents
* Safely operate forklift to arrange product within the warehouse
* Pulling orders per customer requests, including palletizing bags and preparing the pallet for shipment. Must be done in such a way as to reduce the chance of damage in transit
* Accurately fill orders and document lot numbers for each bag and each product.
* Shrink wrap and stage orders for shipment
* Ability to work in a flexible schedule; must allow for changes in assignments, and priorities depending upon identified needs of the operations
* Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
* Assist in maintaining the housekeeping program (cleaning), including required written documentation
* Filtering face piece respirator may be required for certain tasks
* Assist in efficient warehousing and organization of products.
* Attempt to keep products clear of dust, debris, and safe stacking of pallets is required.
* Assist in light maintenance which may include using ladders, hand tools, and power tools.

* Must have a demonstrated history of safe work behavior and a sincere desire to follow and improve upon safety policies and procedures
* Ability to work extended hours, evenings, weekends and Holidays
** Physical Requirements
*** Standing for prolonged periods of time
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs
* Must be able to repetitively lift 50 pound bags when pulling orders or working damage control
