Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Ambassador! ($500.00 bonus offered for applicants with a Valid IL PERC Card).

As a Security Ambassador – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations center, call center, or parking gatehouse.

• Site location:
  Decatur, IL
• Shift availability: 5 positions (full‑time rotating 6 a.m.–6 p.m. and 6 p.m.–6 a.m.; part‑time fill‑in hours that could become full time)
• Competitive hourly wage: $19.50 / hour (Daily Pay available for Garda World employees)

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
• Document events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises safety
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement for serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED; documentation acceptable
• Successful completion of an extensive screening process (background check and drug screening after offer)
• Strong report‑writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Proficiency with technology
• Experience in security, military, or law enforcement is an advantage
• State license if required for the position

Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment is extended.
