What You Will Achieve in this Role- Drive new business development and revenue growth within your assigned territory by identifying and cultivating new opportunities.
- Manage and expand relationships with an established customer base while consistently hunting for fresh business prospects.
- Collaborate closely with leadership to execute territory‑specific growth strategies.
- Develop tailored sales presentations and proposals that highlight technical advantages and ROI.
- Deliver on‑site technical training and provide light troubleshooting and product support when required.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events, supporting marketing initiatives and lead generation.
- Maintain accurate sales activity records and pipeline updates using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Ensure timely follow‑up on quotations and maintain exceptional responsiveness to client needs.
- Contribute to the ongoing expansion of the company’s market share across North America.
- 5+ years of experience in technical or industrial sales, ideally in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems.
- Post‑secondary education in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
- A proven track record of success in consultative B2B sales, including proposal development and negotiation.
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, with the ability to interpret drawings or schematics (AutoCAD experience is an asset).
- Must be self‑motivated, proactive, and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Experience working with CRM systems;
Salesforce experience considered an asset. - Ability and willingness to travel extensively (50–75%) within the assigned territory in the U.S. and Canada.
- Valid driver’s license and passport.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
