Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU night shift position requiring a GA or compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months experience.
Responsibilities

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital setting

• Night shift position, 10-hour shifts

• 13-week contract assignment

• No on-call requirements

• Strict rules regarding requested time off (RTO): up to 5 days allowed if not near a holiday, up to 3 days if RTO falls on or near a holiday

• Only one holiday RTO request is allowed per contract

• Multiple RTO days during the holiday period must be spaced out

• Cannot submit for multiple positions simultaneously at this health system
Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required and must be in hand

• Minimum of 18 months recent PACU or relevant acute care experience required

• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility; no local candidates allowed

• Former permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year prior to returning and 18 months if returning to the same facility
