What you will do:

Site Sanitation is responsible for cleaning and/or sanitizing all company non‑production areas.

Here’s a day in the life:
  • Clean and stock with appropriate supplies all offices, restrooms, labs and break areas.
  • Clean and/or scrub all warehouse and hallway floor.
  • Pressure wash exterior areas.
  • Monitor, pick up and compact all trash and recycling generated in the plant/grounds.
  • Clean and stock with appropriate supplies all hand sinks in all areas.
  • Clean drains on milk receiving dock, mix room, and packaging room.
  • Clean all exterior windows.
  • Clean and monitor all footbath mats and foot foamer units in plant.
  • Clean and/or sanitize all man doors, roll‑up doors, dock doors, handrails, fixtures, overhead pipes, storage racking, storage racking areas and surface areas in plant.
  • Clean outside and under all dock door plates.
  • Keep work areas, tools and equipment clean and sanitized at all times.
  • Operate forklift, cardboard compactor, garbage compactor, floor scrubbing equipment and scissor lift as needed.
  • Attend meetings and training.
  • Demonstrate excellent time‑management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Communicate effectively.
  • Act as a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the company.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience in food production or production/manufacturing environment desired.
Physical requirements:
  • Sitting
  • Standing and/or walking
  • Lifting 25 lbs.
  • Vision for machine or computer operations
  • Hearing
  • Climb stairs
Salary Information:

This is an hourly position with a starting wage of $18.00.

Working conditions:

Laboratory:
Shared workstations including testing equipment and computer terminals. Generally quiet, temperature controlled, well lit. May include walking on uneven, slippery surfaces and encountering forklift traffic. Requires standing majority of shift, working with chemicals, walking on uneven, slippery surfaces, stooping, bending and crouching and climbing stairs and ladders. Duties may include repetitive motion of hands and lifting up to 35 pounds.

Standing 50%, Sitting 25%, Walking 10%, Lifting 10%, and Climbing 5%.
