* Job Description:

** Caterpillar is seeking a Material Requirements Planning Manager in Decatur, IL. In this role you will be primarily responsible for maintaining agreed-upon inventory levels to provide a flow of raw materials and components from the supply chain to the manufacturing facility.

* What You Will do:

*
* • Ensuring that the environment of the inventory stock room is in line with requirements for each product.  
• Managing staffing, development, and performance management of materials management workers. Ensuring proper labor relations.  
• Defining and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Performing inventory analysis and making recommendations for stock levels.  
• Coordinating maintenance and support of inventory management software.
** Top Candidates Will Have:
*** APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification highly desired
* Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
* College or university degree related to Supply Chain, or equivalent experience, is desired
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
* Solid product knowledge
* Excellent teamwork and leadership skills
* Strong supplier relationship management skills
* The ability to develop and deploy creative / original solutions to complex problems
* Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures, especially supplier-focused Caterpillar initiatives
* Solid logistics and manufacturing knowledge
