Amylu Foods is hiring a Head of Enterprise Applications to join our team in Chicago. This is a newly created role and will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Role DescriptionThe Head of Enterprise Applications is a full-time, on-site role, based at Amylu Headquarters in Chicago, IL.
The scope of this role includes enterprise technology strategy and management.
The role is responsible for management and support of implemented technology applications (currently including Net Suite, RF-Smart, Safety Chain etc.) and corresponding data structures, integrations and ongoing enhancement.
For new technology solutions, this role will be responsible for evaluation, selection & implementation.
The individual in this role will work closely with business stakeholders ensuring systems, technology and data support and drive improvement in business processes.
With a lean organization, evaluation, selection and management of third-party providers (e.g, Net Suite SI, Synoptek IT MSP etc.) will be critical to success.
In support, the individual will optimize systems, drive enterprise application projects, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver tools to enable better decision-making through data-driven insights.
Areas of ResponsibilitiesTECHNOLOGY STRATEGY & LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT
- Define & maintain a roadmap for all enterprise applications and align technology initiatives with business goals
- Execute the roadmap through system evaluation, selection, implementation, integration & maintenance
ENTERPRISE APPLICATION OWNERSHIP
- Serve as the technical owner of the business applications (e.g., Net Suite, WMS, Planning & Reporting Solutions, etc.) overseeing configuration, customization, upgrades & integrations
- Ensure the systems support core operations across finance, manufacturing, supply chain, inventory & sales and meet security standards & regulatory requirements
MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT
- Design and implement data structure for enterprise-wide master data consolidating financial & operational data for planning and reporting
- Own data integrity, accuracy & availability across systems
- Construct the enterprise IT landscape that allows for efficient data flow between applications and to end users
VENDOR & CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
- Manage software vendors, system integrators & consultants including identifying and evaluating candidate firms, negotiating contracts, licenses, SLAs and renewals to implement & maintain business applications
SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
- Partner with department leads to confirm existing IT infrastructure and security architecture is being fully leveraged and optimized
- Work with Finance to develop improved & automated planning & reporting functionality within Net Suite and any future systems (e.g., EPM or data visualization tools)
- Identify and integrate AI applications to streamline business processes
- Manage business leads' requests for new system functionality, overseeing testing, implementation, and reporting, while also providing end-user training
- 8+ years of experience managing enterprise applications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information technology, computer science, or related fields
- Experience in Information Technology systems and enterprise-level technology integration
- Knowledge of business processes and their alignment with technology solutions
- Expertise in Project Management, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication
- Deep knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including implementation and optimization, specific knowledge of Net Suite is a plus
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations – BOMs, work orders, MRP, routings & inventory control
- Ability to work onsite at the Amylu corporate headquarters
- Demonstrated cross-functional leadership & business process redesign & automation
- Experience in CPG or food industry is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data, processes, and performance metrics
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver technology-driven solutions
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
$120,000 - $170,000
