Job Description:
Patient Care Technician (PCT) - RN Nursing Students at Memorial Health
This role involves assisting registered nurses in providing patient care, performing tasks suitable to the patient's age, and ensuring efficient unit operation. All duties align with Memorial Health System standards and policies.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), nursing student with one semester of clinicals completed, or two years of relevant experience
- CPR certification required or obtained during onboarding
Includes providing hygiene and comfort measures, assisting with activities, nutrition, elimination, monitoring, therapeutic procedures, safety, and promoting unit efficiency. Specific tasks are detailed in the original description.
