TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for a Logistics Analyst in Decatur, IL. Pay is $25/hr and the role is 1st shift.

Overview

The Logistics Analyst acts as a daily liaison between suppliers and end customers. The Analyst also builds and fosters relationships among the supplier, end customer, and TRIGO HT while maintaining the highest performance standards at the lowest achievable costs.

Reports to:

Site Supervisor/Site Leads.

Responsibilities
  • Retrieve and prepare suppliers’ requirements for kitted and bulk shipments.
  • Create appropriate shipping labels for outbound shipments.
  • Create daily inspection worksheets.
  • Prepare daily dock audits for verification of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Prepare and send Advance Ship Notices (ASN) and/or invoices to end customer.
  • Enter received shipments into WITS (Web Inventory Tracking System).
  • Conduct and reconcile cycle counts.
  • Conduct and reconcile yearly physical inventory.
  • Complete manual invoices for price discrepancies, as required.
  • Research, identify, and locate inventory discrepancies.
  • Scan documents electronically and send to supplier and end customer.
  • Prepare shipping documents and bills‑of‑lading.
  • Track and expedite supplier shipments when required.
  • Monitor supplier inventory levels and ensure no shortages exist.
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance indicators.
  • Segregate and dispose of defective materials.
  • Other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
  • This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Technical Skills
    • Understanding of warehousing methods and shipping procedures.
    • Proficiency using computerized inventory control systems.
    • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Excel.
    • Proven record of job diligence and attendance.
  • Other Duties
    • Any other duties as assigned.

    • Strong written and verbal communication.
    • Interpersonal skills, multi‑tasking, and attention to detail.
    • Managerial or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Work Experience Preferences
    • Freight‑forwarding work experience preferred.
    • Warehousing and logistics operations work experience preferred.
  • Education Requirements
    • High school diploma or GED required.
