Position SummaryA Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When the manager or Operations Supervisor is absent, the Shift Supervisor leads the staff, ensures smooth store operations, and completes all opening and closing procedures.
Essential Functions- Work effectively with store management and store crews.
- Supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing, and following up of all activities.
- Effectively communicate information to and from store management and crews.
- Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints; promote the CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, and thank).
- Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers.
- Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
- Price merchandise, stock shelves, and execute the displays, signage, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
- Execute the display and maintenance of off‑shelf merchandise.
- Reset departments following POGs.
- Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
- Advanced communication and supervision skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, overtime as needed, and respond to urgent store issues.
- Experience as a retail supervisor.
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required.

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is $16.50 – $24.00 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
