Overview
Well-established and busy electronic manufacturing and refurbishing company supporting the semiconductor industry seeking an experienced Equipment Technician to join our winning team in the Atlanta, GA area. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a similar role, will be knowledgeable in the maintenance and/or repair of vacuum systems, pneumatics, mechanical, electronics, wiring or similar and will be comfortable in a fully on-site role.

Summary: This position is responsible for the refurbishment and modification of complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Although semiconductor equipment experience is preferred, it is not required, if you have a background in electrical, mechanical, pneumatics or vacuum systems we will train.
Duties- Refurbishes equipment according to customer specifications documentation, blueprints, and/or written procedures.
- Performs electrical and mechanical troubleshooting for semiconductor equipment in a timely manner.
- Actively works to obtain all materials/information needed to fulfill job responsibilities. (e.g. hand tools, parts, hardware, sales order, research documentation).
- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles semiconductor equipment with moderate to no supervision.
- Maintains accurate records and logs of work performed, modifications, calibration, and adjustments and parts inventory.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings/schematics
- Meticulous and quality focused.
- Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Some experience in any or all of the following disciplines:
- Vacuum systems operation
- RF Tuning
- Pneumatics
- Pump operation
- Motor theory and operation
- Measuring/testing equipment with input voltage up to 500
VAC - Industrial Automation
- PLC theory/programming
- HMI
This is a direct-hire, long term career opportunity offering room for growth, the starting base pay range is $65K-$75K plus benefits and incentives.
