The Atlanta Cleaning Source is a small family‑owned, pet‑friendly business located in Decatur that primarily provides residential cleaning services for private homes in the Atlanta area.

Job SummaryOur housekeeping professionals play a vital role in the daily operations and services at The Atlanta Cleaning Source. We are looking for new faces to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a licensed, safe and insured driver who executes every clean with professionalism, integrity and to company standards. Previous cleaning experience is not required as on‑the‑job training will be provided.

We pay our staff an hourly wage for their workday—including travel time between jobs.
Our operations take place Monday‑Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. No nights or weekends.
As a driver, you are reimbursed for mileage at a minimum of $10 per day (or $0.655 per mile). This adds at least an additional $1/hr to your base pay.
Housekeeping Professional Essential Functions- Provide excellent quality cleaning to clients in both commercial and residential spaces.
- Work well with a team by receiving and applying constructive feedback.
- Communicate well with teammates about division of work and double–check quality.
- Maintain proper insurance and driver’s license.
- Maintain a clean and properly serviced vehicle.
- Safely transport coworkers and cleaning supplies to jobs.
- Read our client’s scope of work for each cleaning job.
- Check the work of other cleaning associates on your team.
- Interact with coworkers and clients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Write down notes for each clean in the work log.
- Report quality issues to management.
- Report daily scheduling updates to our office team.
- Report any breakage that occurs in client homes to our office team.
- Prior residential or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Must be comfortable around pets.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be willing to complete a background check.
- Work with your hands.
- Lift 25 lbs 3–4 feet off the ground.
- Carry 10 lbs on your back and traverse stairs while doing so.
- Bend over and squat.
- Use hands, arms and shoulders comfortably.
- Stand and move for 75% of the workday.
Our housekeeping professionals begin their day by arriving at the Atlanta Cleaning Source office in Decatur at 8:00 am, clocking in, checking in with the rest of their team, grabbing supplies, and departing for their cleans that day. During the day, teams travel in a teammate’s car to and from clients’ homes/offices. After completing their cleans, teams return to the office with supplies and work logs.

Residential maintenance cleaning, deep cleans, moving cleans, and post‑construction cleans: changing bedding, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, removing trash, and sometimes cleaning the inside of refrigerators, ovens and cabinets.
Cleaning RestrictionsWe do NOT clean homes with insect infestations, animal waste, old food, blood, or offer junk removal services.
Compensation- $16.00 hourly training pay for the first 90 days plus mileage reimbursement.
- Potential for future raises based on performance and attendance; a raise to $17.00/hr is given at the 90‑day job review.
