Overview

Job Description Metas Solutions has an "opening" for an experienced Training Specialist who will provide support to our client in support of a nationwide SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) vaccine ordering and distribution system and its migration to a new S/4 HANA system. In this role, the employee will be a team member of SAP ERP experienced trainers and Public Health Communication and Organizational Change Management Specialists working closely with other members of our client's team including the development team and client stakeholders to carry out Project Management, Communications, Training and Organizational Change Management.

The incumbent will support tasks and activities for new and routine SAP ERP solution training for awardees and their providers. Core responsibilities will include S/4 HANA training, overall planning, training material creation and maintenance and training delivery for internal and external partners and providers.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Training Specialist Lead in delivering task management support with focus on training task deliverables
  • Develop and Deliver presentations, educational workshops, and detailed documentation to prepare end user audiences for new enhancements and overall solutions
  • Support Training Delivery including internal users, external partners and providers. Expertise in troubleshooting technology issues with webinars
  • Provide support for Training Planning Activities including developing training plans and curricula for system user groups
  • Coordinate training schedules with end users and clients to accommodate timing of release of system enhancements
  • Support Training Material Creation and Maintenance including the development of new training materials and for the ongoing system training curriculum
  • Provide periodic and ad hoc assessment of existing training material and training. Recommend improvements or required changes based on system changes and updates to functionality or enhanced workflows or based on further clarification/details resulting from issues raised through training feedback or through Contact Center inquiries
  • Ensure Section 508 Compliance for all training and other communications materials
  • Provide resolution assistance to end user defects/issues as they are reported to the Contact Center or during training; assistance providing additional training support as well as training documentation for problematic areas or areas requiring workarounds
  • Support as needed the creation, design, editing, and reviewing OCM and Communication documents for both public and non-public distribution
  • Support local travel to offsite settings as required including traveling to local offsite settings including conference venues in the Metro Atlanta area to conduct training or provide support assistance
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree from a four (4) year accredited university in Public Health required, with ten (10) years of relevant experience, preferably within a federal agency, public health organization, or state-based public health program
  • Master s degree (Master of Public Health) is preferred but not required
  • Experience with Organizational Change Management preferred
  • Expertise with SAP ERP Solutions - eight to ten (8-10) years of experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook; Documentation Management; and other technologies such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
