We’re looking for a detail-driven, solutions-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our growing team at Northwest Exterminating
. In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing core accounting functions that drive financial accuracy, support strategic decision-making, and ensure operational excellence. You’ll lead the charge on month-end close, manage AP and AR operations, and collaborate across departments to uphold financial integrity and enhance performance. What will your job duties entail:

• Assist and partner in the preparation, review, and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Assist and partner in executing and monitoring the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Partner closely with department heads to support strategic initiatives, enhance customer experience, and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Assist and partner in developing, maintaining, and evaluating accounting policies and processes, identifying areas for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to ensure financial health, proactively addressing areas of concern and opportunity.
• Provide management with regular updates on AR aging, bad debt risk, cash flow trends, and operational insights.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities.
• Assist and partner in hiring, mentoring and supporting the development of team members, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Serve as a key liaison during audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to external auditors.
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives that align with company goals.
