You will be the key player in the efficiency of the accounting department, assisting the controller with month closings, implementing general ledger best practices, problem solving processes, and assisting with standard audits throughout the year.

• Communicate clearly and often with both your team and vendors
• Adapt processes towards different types of vendors.
• Continually develop more efficient processes for you and month closing.
• Frequently analyze the financial statements and supporting data to gain insight and accuracy.
• Be a part of a fun and creative team, be open to mentoring team members sharing your knowledge and experience.
• Green employees are fanatics about response time, and you should be too.

• 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting work
• Experience meeting deadlines and goals
• Knowledge and proficiency using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Detail oriented, have the ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of Cargo Wise operating system a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
