Certified Adaptive Driving Instructor

Position:
Certified Driving Rehabilitation Specialist Assistant – Adaptive Driving Program.

Decatur, AL

Assist the Certified Driving Rehabilitation Specialist (CDRS) in serving consumers in the ADRS Adaptive Driving Program. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Evaluation and training for ADT services
• Maintaining specialized adaptive equipment and devices related to the ADT program
• Performing scheduled maintenance, service, and minor repair of vehicles and mounting equipment
• Scheduling all service station related work

• High School Diploma
• Credentials of Certified Driving Instructor or eligibility for certification as a Certified Driving Instructor in the State of Alabama
• Certified in the State of Alabama as a 3rd party License Examiner or eligibility
• Valid Alabama driver’s license

• College experience preferred

Varies – To be determined.

Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing approximately 50 pounds.

Yes – driving is a primary responsibility (personal or university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart).

No supervisory responsibilities.
