• Pay: $26/Hr.
• Monthly Bonus up to $500/mo
• Monday-Friday schedule with the occasional weekend, shifts start at 5pm-6pm
• Average 45-50 hours per week
• Route area:
  Birmingham to Tennessee state line to Mississippi state line to Georgia state line and everything in between. Employee must be willing/able to drive beyond these designated areas.
• Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet equipped with driver-friendly technology such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance technology, and the latest camera technology.

Airgas is currently recruiting for CDL B Microbulk Driver w/ X endorsements to support our National Carbonation Division. This position is responsible for delivering roughly 10 - 20 deliveries of CO2 products and related supplies to established customers along assigned routes while monitoring each unit to assure that it is operating properly and efficiently.

• Transfer product from Airgas truck to customer tank through hose hookup.
• Inspect vehicles before and after use according to DOT and company maintenance checklist.
• Loading Microbulk tanks, filling customer owned Microbulk tanks as assigned.
• Assist field service technicians with CO2 tank installations & repair work as required.
• Maintain DOT, SAFECOR and Airgas vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed.
• Assure the route truck remains in proper and safe working order and that routine and required maintenance occurs on a timely basis.

• Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements
• Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card & endorsements
• No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years
• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment
• Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.
