We are seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Set-Up Operator for our client close to Decatur, AL. You will perform a variety of operational functions we are seeking a highly skilled operator who can independently program, set up, and run CNC press brakes with minimal supervision. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading automotive manufacturer while building your long-term career.

• Read and understand detailed drawings and production routers
• Perform precise mathematical calculations related to bend deductions, angles, and layouts
• Plan sequence of operations based on part requirements
• Select and position correct flats, V-blocks, radius, and special-purpose die sets
• Program CNC controller to produce accurate bends
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers and tape measures (standard and metric)
• Maintain quality standards in compliance with company policies and specifications
• Update computer records and production documentation
• Perform required preventative maintenance on press brakes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
• Calculate programming inputs for the controller
• Select proper tooling
• Minimum 5 years of CNC press brake setup and programming experience (Desired)
• Strong understanding of angles and geometric calculations
• Ability to work independently and maintain production standards
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Complete full machine setup independently
• Plan and execute bending sequences efficiently and accurately
• High School Diploma/GED or graduation from certified technical school.
• Must accurately read tape measure (assessment given).
• Strong work ethic, good attendance, and ability to follow instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work occasional overtime.
• Steel-toed boots required.
• Must pass background & drug screening.

• Shift: 1st Shift – Monday–Friday 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM.

• Pay: $25.00-$28.00/hr
