Maintenance Supervisor - 1st Shift

Our client is a trusted contract manufacturer of sheet metal parts and assemblies, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with benefits, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This position offers a balanced blend of leadership and technical expertise, with approximately 70% of your time spent performing hands‑on maintenance and 30% focused on supervision and coordination. You will play a critical role in minimizing downtime, maintaining equipment reliability, and ensuring a safe, productive work environment.

• Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians
• Assign and monitor preventive maintenance and repair work orders
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including 480 v equipment
• Maintain and service CNC machines, lasers, punch presses, turrets, lathes, welding machines, sandblasters, powder coat lines, and overhead doors
• Oversee parts sourcing, inventory, and contractor coordination
• Maintain accurate documentation and maintenance records
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
• Communicate progress and operational needs to leadership

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of supervisory maintenance experience
• 7+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience
• Strong electro‑mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read schematics, prints, and equipment manuals
• Experience with cranes and industrial machinery
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
