Primary Role:Production Technician
Responsible for the assembly, wiring, manufacturing, and testing of electronic equipment for the corrections and justice industry, including electronic panel and cabinet component assembly and wiring, and assisting in shop testing prior to shipment. The Technician ensures work is completed efficiently and meets SWC’s highest quality standards while maintaining a safe and professional environment.
Responsibilities- Procurement of components from the warehouse for assembly
- Install and assembly of electronic components onto electronic panels and into electronic cabinets
- Wiring after installation of components
- Set up of all manufactured assemblies for testing equipment
- Aiding quality control in testing
- Tearing down and readying equipment for shipping
- Meet all manufacturing deadlines
- Accurate tracking on timesheets and assembly/manufacturing report forms
- Full compliance with company policy and safety program
- Operation of power tools
- Other duties as required or assigned by management
The Manufacturing Technician reports to the Warehouse/Manufacturing Manager and, as assigned, to other management team members.
QualificationsMinimum requirements:
high‑school diploma or equivalent. Desired: two‑year electronics degree or equivalent education/experience and a working knowledge of electronic assembly or installation.
