SHIFT
HOURS:
** 6:55 AM- 4:30 PM

**** PRIMARY FUNCTION:
** The Shipping Floor Coordinator provides direction to the shipping associates, at the direction of the Shipping Supervisor or Manager, surrounding production requirements and the completion of all assigned shipping and inventory schedules to ensure product is shipped in a timely manner with minimal errors.
** RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
*** Under the direction of the supervisor, delegates tasks to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
* Schedule rework transfers, miscellaneous transactions, return orders, and RMAs
* Schedule inventory reports ensuring departmental accuracy on shipped product
* Assist supervisor with timekeeping to ensure employees clock in/out as required and are paid correctly according to policies and legal requirements
* Train/ cross train employees in processes and procedures to ensure all safety practices are understood and followed, provide the ability to cover absences
* Provide feedback on performance for areas where employee excels and where there is opportunity to improve
* Identify opportunities for improvement, develop improvement, present to appropriate personnel, and lead or participate in the implementation of improvement
* Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure others wear PPE in all areas where required
* Perform additional relevant duties as assigned
** SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
*** None. This is an individual contributor role with required competencies:
Functional/Technical Skills, Action Oriented, Problem Solving, Learning on the Fly, and Interpersonal Savvy
** EDUCATION and
CERTIFICATIONS:
*** High School diploma or equivalent; some higher education preferred
*
* EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
*** Minimum three (3) years shipping and receiving experience; experience in cold pack, food preferred
* Demonstrated leadership with the ability to effectively build and lead a team, including conflict resolution
* Must have the ability to effectively communicate, both verbal and written, with internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner
* Ability to enter data into appropriate computer programs
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail
* Must possess a strong customer-centric attitude, high energy level and a strong sense of urgency.
** SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
*** Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs
* Wear required protective equipment in all areas where mandatory
*
* PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
*** Ability to work non-standard shifts (holidays, weekend and/or extended) per business need
