SKILLED FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Decatur, AL | Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Enjoy three‑day weekends) | Starting pay: $17.00 per hour | Full‑time, First Shift

A leading manufacturing company in Decatur, Alabama seeks an experienced and dependable forklift operator to join its growing team. This full‑time position offers weekly pay, a consistent four‑day workweek, and the opportunity to be part of a fast‑paced, team‑driven environment focused on safety, hard work, and professional development.

• Safely operate powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, stage, and transport building materials, including wood paneling and sheetrock, within a high‑volume, automated warehouse environment.
• Support production needs, maintain an organized and hazard‑free work area, and strictly follow all company safety procedures and protocols.
• Play a key role in ensuring efficient material handling operations to meet production schedules.

• 3–5 years of recent forklift operating experience in an industrial warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required; we encourage applicants with less experience to apply.
• Strong hand‑eye coordination, attention to detail, ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds routinely.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and a team‑oriented mindset.

• Forklift certification strongly preferred.
• Experience working in a high‑volume, automated warehouse environment is a plus.

This role is based in a highly automated, fast‑paced manufacturing facility. Physical demands include standing, lifting, and moving materials for extended periods. Adherence to safety standards is essential at all times.
