Job Summary

The Flux Core Welder will be responsible for performing structural welds on various types of metal being fabricated in a new fabrication shop. This role requires expertise in flux core welding techniques and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Pay Range

$23 per hour

• Welding:
  
  Perform flux core welding on structural components according to specifications and blueprints.
• Material Preparation:
  
  Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, and shaping as needed.
• Quality Assurance:
  
  Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  
  Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Safety Compliance:
  
  Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with other team members to ensure project timelines and goals are met.

• Experience:
  
  Previous experience as a flux core welder or in a similar role.
• Skills:
  
  Proficiency in flux core welding techniques and the use of welding equipment.
• Certifications:
  
  Welding certification is a plus.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work in various positions including standing, bending, and kneeling.
