Facilities Associate - Part Time

We are looking for our newest addition to the Cook Museum Team and it could be you!

Someone who is energetic, works independently, has an eye for detail, and doesn’t mind a little hard work. This person would ideally have a background in janitorial work and have a keen eye for detail. In this position, it is very important to be able to take initiative and action when there is a job that needs to be done. We take a great deal of pride in our building and we are looking for someone who is ready and willing to be a part of helping us present a clean, orderly facility for our guests.

We are looking for someone who has schedule flexibility, including being able to work on the weekends, and likes to stay busy.

While there is always the possibility of a little variation here and there (accidents happen), our Facilities Team likes to operate with a good bit of structure. Depending on the time and day, tasks would include but no be limited to:

• Cleaning and stocking restrooms
• Sweeping/vacuuming/mopping floors
• Emptying garbage and recycling bins

As a member of the Facilities Team, this person would be responsible for working with cleaning materials including a variety of chemicals, and safe, proper handling of these chemicals is a MUST. The job also requires constant movement around the building, meaning there is a lot of walking!
