Under direct supervisor utilizes knowledge and skills to assist in assigned direct patient care as appropriate to the patient’s physical and developmental age, maintaining a primary focus on a safe and therapeutic environment.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience- Uses common sense and special skills to care for patients.
- Understand technical information applicable to job function and caring for patients.
- Responds quickly in an emergency with appropriate action.
- Communicate with people.
- Changes from one duty to another frequently.
- Follows and/or gives precise instructions.
- Records and interprets information accurately.
Psych Tech II: BS degree preferably in psychology or social services.
ExperienceHealth care experience is desirable.
