Compliance Clerk (AL, Decatur)

The Compliance Clerk is responsible for reviewing, validating, and maintaining data related to vending route operations within the Vend Sys platform. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of operational data and produces timely reports that help the operations team monitor performance and maintain key metrics in good standing. The Compliance Clerk plays a critical role in supporting operational efficiency, accountability, and policy adherence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Review, audit, and verify data entered from vending routes in Vend Sys to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify discrepancies, errors, or missing information and work with route staff or operations team members to resolve issues promptly.
- Generate recurring and ad-hoc compliance and performance reports for operations leadership.
- Track and monitor key operational metrics to ensure they remain within established performance standards.
- Maintain organized records of reviewed data, findings, and corrective actions.
- Escalate significant compliance issues or repeated discrepancies to management.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends, process gaps, or opportunities for increased accuracy.
- Follow established company policies, compliance standards, and confidentiality guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or coursework in business, data management, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies in data.
- Proficiency with computer systems and data‑entry platforms; experience with Vend Sys is a plus.
- Ability to produce clear, accurate reports and communicate findings effectively.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and in collaboration with operations team members.
- Experience in administration, route‑based operations, or compliance roles
- Familiarity with data auditing or quality assurance processes
- Intermediate skills in Excel or other reporting tools
