Job Overview

Akkodis is seeking a Mobile Application Developer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. Candidate must have strong capability in designing, developing, and maintaining native mobile applications using Swift or Kotlin within a full software development lifecycle.

Rate Range: $65/hour to $74/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Designs and develops native mobile applications using Swift or Kotlin while ensuring alignment with customer needs and user‑centric requirements.
• Creates high‑level architecture and defines component structures, integration methods, and interface patterns for mobile solutions.
• Implements continuous testing, CI/CD practices, and quality guidelines to maintain reliability and performance.
• Collaborates with product owners, designers, and cross‑functional teams to refine requirements and deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Optimizes mobile application performance by improving code efficiency, adopting new technologies, and enhancing overall user experience.
• Supports secure development practices, including safeguarding user data through encryption and other protection methods.

• Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10 years of IT experience with 8 years in software development and hands‑on native mobile engineering.
• Candidate must have strong capability in developing native mobile applications using Swift or Kotlin along with expertise in mobile architecture and modular design.
• Candidate will possess proven experience in implementing user‑centric features, continuous testing, and performance optimization across the full mobile development lifecycle.
