Mobile Application Developer

Akkodis is seeking a iOS or Android Application Development for a Contract job with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate should have experience iOS or Android Application Development.

Rate Range: $
70/hour to $74/hour
;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Engage with customers to understand business use cases, pain points, and requirements, translating them into user-centric, scalable software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, and designers.
• Design end-to-end software solutions by defining architecture, selecting appropriate technology stacks, integration methods, and deployment strategies, while developing web and native mobile applications.
• Lead development and delivery using modern engineering practices such as Agile methodology, test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish and enforce software testing strategies, security best practices (including encryption and data protection), and evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation and maximize development efficiency.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong expertise in Swift and/or Kotlin with hands-on experience in native iOS or Android application development.
• 10+ years of overall IT experience with 8+ years in software development; advanced proficiency in at least one mobile language or practical experience in two.
• 6+ years of experience in native mobile app development (iOS/Android) including deep knowledge of respective ecosystems.
• 3+ years of experience in mobile application architecture, including modular design, state management, and navigation strategies.
