Front-End Developer / UI Engineer
Position DescriptionThe Front-End Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining the client-side of applications, primarily web-based, with occasional support for mobile or mobile-responsive solutions. This role focuses on delivering intuitive, high-quality user interfaces and experiences by collaborating closely with customers, product owners, designers, and back-end engineers. The ideal candidate is user-centric, technically strong, and passionate about building scalable, performant, and accessible applications.
Key Responsibilities- Engage directly with customers and stakeholders to understand use cases, pain points, and business requirements, advocating for user-centered software solutions
- Design, develop, and deliver complex front-end solutions using modern tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies
- Align development efforts with established architecture guidelines to ensure a unified and scalable application design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and architects
- Create mock-ups and prototypes to visualize new features and participate in UI design reviews and product demonstrations
- Perform functional automated testing and UI testing to ensure high-quality, reliable software delivery
- Continuously improve application performance by fixing defects, optimizing code, and adopting new technologies to improve development efficiency
- Ensure best practices are followed for cross-browser compatibility, SEO principles, and accessibility standards
- Design and deliver user-friendly, interactive experiences using enterprise brand standards and templates for a consistent user experience
- Develop front-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React or Angular
- Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in user interface and user experience design
- Java
- Core Java / J2EE development experience – 3+ years
- SQL Server – 3+ years
- ORM / JPA – 3+ years
- RESTful web services – 3+ years
- Unit testing and functional testing – 3+ years
- Git Hub Copilot – 1+ year
- SQL Server
- Bachelor’s Degree required
