Inside Sales Representative – OEM Accounts
Location: Dearborn, MI
Pay Rate: $30.55 per hour
We are hiring an experienced Inside Sales Representative in Dearborn, MI to support OEM account growth and deliver exceptional customer service within a fast‑paced automotive sales environment. This role partners directly with the OEM Sales Manager and Account Managers to manage quotes, qualify customers, set pricing strategy, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Qualify prospective OEM customers by evaluating end product use, order quantities, and sales viability
- Prepare accurate, competitive price quotations using IMS2 and/or Baan systems
- Set customer pricing aligned with margin and profitability goals
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, fax, and online channels
- Proactively follow up on payment issues and claims to protect revenue
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve purchase order discrepancies
- Support on‑time delivery and overall customer satisfaction
- Conduct occasional customer visits to strengthen account relationships
- Bachelor's degree or 1–2 years of inside sales, OEM sales support, or customer service experience (or equivalent combination)
- Strong communication skills and customer‑focused mindset
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams in a manufacturing or automotive environment preferred
