Henry Ford Medical Center – Fairlane offers many specialty services, including allergy, audiology, cancer care, cosmetic and plastic surgery, ENT, rehabilitation services, orthopedics, urology, and vascular surgery. Other on-site services include laboratory, pharmacy and radiology.

Henry Ford offers private patient rooms and complimentary Wi‑Fi while you wait. For your convenience, most of our locations include a pharmacy. Visitors also can find food and beverages in our cafeterias, coffee shops and vending areas in many locations.

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Shift - 2 12‑hour shifts a week (7AM-7:30PM) & rotating weekends

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• Minimum of 1+ years as a Registered Nurse.
• Emergency or ICU experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES

REQUIRED:

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
