Metropolitan Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility)

A growing 144‑bed behavioral health facility – Metropolitan Behavioral Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and performs behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues are offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population.

The facility provides a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Full Time – Every Weekend (Saturday, Sunday, Monday). We are hiring for Day Shift and Night Shift across Adult Units. The RN will coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with the health team, in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care and practices. The RN will oversee and direct LPNs and MHTs on units to provide for patients’ safety and needs.

Education: Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program required.
Experience: Preferred – a minimum of three (3) years in a psychiatric health‑care facility.
Licensure: RN license issued by the State of Michigan.
Work Hours: This is a full‑time, every weekend position @ $50/hour. Sat/Sun/Mon Adult Units:
Day Shift: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. or Night Shift: 7 p.m. – 7 a.m.
