Overview
Metropolitan Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility) is a growing 144-bed behavioral health facility providing a full continuum of inpatient services across the patient population, including specialty programs for adolescents, adults and older adults. Programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues are offered to meet the needs of this patient population. The facility provides a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy.
ResponsibilitiesHouse Supervisor (RN) — Per Diem
The House Supervisor is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. This role contributes to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and performance improvement efforts, and provides supervision to the nursing staff. The House Supervisor will supervise nursing staff, patients and patient care during their shift, and will work closely with the Intake and Admissions Department regarding patient admissions, discharges and transfers during their shift.

QualificationsEducation: A minimum of an associate degree in nursing or BSN
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the MI State Board of Nursing
Additional Requirements: Understanding of The Joint Commission, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements. Must have current CPR certification.
This Per Diem (PRN, Contingent) position will assist in vacation, holiday, weekend, and call off coverage. Schedule will be varied.
