Material Control Analyst

Compensation: $36.30/hr with benefits
We are seeking a
Material Control Analyst to support production scheduling, inventory control, and customer shipments at a large automotive stamping and manufacturing facility in Dearborn, MI. This role is critical to ensuring smooth production flow across press lines, treatment lines, and assembly operations while serving as a key point of contact for customer assembly plants.

, with hands?on experience in automotive manufacturing and production scheduling.
- Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules for press lines, chemical treat, ink, heat treat, and sub?assemblies (volume, mix, sequence)
- Utilize CMMS (Common Material Management System) to schedule production and communicate production and shipping plans to plant leadership
- Track daily shipping status
, parts follow?up, and min/max inventory reporting - Coordinate shipments with suppliers, warehouses, and customer assembly plants
- Support final balance outs, running changes, and customer release updates
- Validate production counts, scrap transactions, and shipping corrections
- Perform cycle count analysis
, inventory verification, and reconciliation (including negative balances) - Provide daily production line?ups to MP&L and production teams
- Support bailment and consignment activities
- Respond to schedule changes, quality issues, and shipping disruptions
- Participate in daily production meetings and advise leadership on scheduling plans
- Assist with raw material ordering, receiving, and scheduling
- Support aluminum scrap processing and inventory activities
- Work afternoon/off?shift hours
, including weekends as needed
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of automotive manufacturing or stamping experience
- Experience with CMMS
- Background in production scheduling and distribution
- Knowledge of inventory process flow and cycle count programs
- Ability to interpret Bills of Material (BOM)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain professional in fast?paced, high?pressure environments
- Experience in an automotive stamping environment
- Advanced CMMS expertise
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
Strong background in inventory verification and cycle programs - Experience scheduling multiple press, treatment, and assembly lines
