Job Goal:
To provide efficient operation of the assigned building according to the direction provided by the Plant Operations Manager to accommodate the educational program established by the Building Principal.

Terms of Employment: 12 months, Engineer's Salary Schedule.

• A High school diploma and at least a High Pressure Boiler Operators license issued by the City of Dearborn.
• A thorough knowledge of the operation and maintenance of high pressure boilers, gas and oil burners, vacuum pumps, air handlers, filters, water pumps and similar equipment.
• Ability to plan, assign, supervise and review work for the custodial staff in the cleaning of the school building.
• A thorough knowledge of various cleaning supplies, materials and their proper use.
• The ability to establish and maintain harmonious working conditions with custodians and other employees of the school district, including Principals and Teachers.
• An understanding and appreciation of the responsibility of the job, being almost on immediate call.
• The ability to understand and effectively carry out written and oral instructions and to make reports.
