SAP Functional Consultant

We’re seeking a Senior SAP S/4

HANA FICO Functional Consultant to serve as a hands‑on configuration lead supporting core ERP operations and large‑scale S/4

HANA initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who lives inside FI/CO, has led multiple end‑to‑end S/4 implementations, and thrives in complex, global ERP environments.

This is a functional, configuration‑focused role (not a developer position) with ownership across General Ledger, month‑end close, daily transaction processing, and production support, as well as participation in new system launches and enhancements.

• Lead hands‑on configuration across SAP S/4
  
  HANA FI/CO modules including FI‑GL, AP, AR, AA
  , and CO (PC, CCA, ML, PA)
• Support General Ledger operations
  , month‑end close activities, and daily financial transactions
• Act as a functional SME for ERP production support and S/4
  
  HANA project implementations
• Partner with technical teams to analyze issues, troubleshoot root causes, and optimize solutions (no coding required)
• Design and support integrations and interfaces with other SAP modules (Purchasing, Sales, Production, etc.)
• Ensure alignment with global templates, standardized processes, and compliance requirements
• Support key finance processes such as FCV/FCTA, substitutions & validations, ledger/sub‑ledger configuration, exchange rates, and company codes
• Work within a product‑driven Agile environment
  , collaborating closely with product owners, architects, and cross‑functional stakeholders

• 7+ years of hands‑on SAP FI/CO configuration experience
  , ideally across multiple S/4
  
  HANA implementations
• Strong expertise in S/4
  
  HANA Finance within multi‑company code / multi‑currency environments
• Deep understanding of ERP financial processes
  , month‑end close, and operational finance support
• Ability to read and debug ABAP code for troubleshooting (no development required)
• Experience supporting or developing interfaces and integrations across SAP systems
• Familiarity with modern SAP development and integration tools
  ; exposure to GCP as a middleware layer is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge functional and technical teams
