Job Summary

Seeking a highly technical Test Lead to drive end-to-end testing of data-centric and AI-driven products. The role focuses on validating ETL pipelines, dashboard metrics, and AI prompt outputs while building automated data validation frameworks. The ideal candidate is strong in SQL, Python/PySpark, and Databricks with hands-on QA automation experience.

Test Lead Data & AI QA

Dearborn, MI

• Validate dashboards by reconciling UI metrics with backend data
• Test AI/chat prompt outputs for accuracy and consistency
• Perform ETL and data pipeline testing in Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory
• Write complex SQL queries to verify data transformations and aggregations
• Execute API testing and validate JSON/XML responses
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using PyTest, Python, or Py Spark
• Validate source-to-target data across multiple databases
• Create manual test cases, log defects in Jira, and manage Test Rail artifacts
• Lead testing efforts and coordinate with developers, product owners, and offshore teams
• Ensure code quality using Git workflows and Sonar Qube
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive defect triage

• Strong SQL (3+ years, complex queries)
• Python or PySpark automation (3+ years)
• Databricks/Delta Lake experience (2+ years)
• AI prompt/chat testing exposure (1+ year)
• ETL/data validation testing experience
• API testing (JSON/XML)
• PyTest automation framework
• Jira, Test Rail, Git, Sonar Qube
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Azure ecosystem experience
• Java for automation
• Experience leading onshore/offshore QA teams
