Data Science and Machine Learning Senior Associate

Akkodis is seeking a Data Science and Machine Learning Senior Associate for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. Candidate must have strong hands‑on experience in designing and implementing data science and machine learning models as a key qualification for this position.

Rate Range: $65/hour to $70/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Analysing business requirements and assessing datasets to determine appropriate data science and machine learning approaches.
• Designing and implementing ML models, hypotheses, algorithms, and experiments to support data‑driven decision‑making.
• Applying predictive modelling, data mining, prescriptive modelling, and other advanced analytics techniques to uncover insights and trends.
• Developing efficient data loading, augmentation, and analysis methods to improve the accuracy and scalability of ML models.
• Researching and staying current with emerging data science tools, techniques, and methodologies to enhance analytical performance.
• Supporting continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to increase model robustness, automation readiness, and analytical efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data science or machine learning roles.
• Candidate must have hands‑on experience designing and implementing machine learning models, algorithms, and advanced analytics techniques.
• Candidate must have strong capability in analysing large datasets using predictive modelling, data mining, and statistical methods to generate meaningful insights.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $70.00 per hour
