Technical Program & Project Management Specialist
Akkodis is seeking a Technical Program & Project Management Specialist for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). You will drive end-to-end delivery planning and governance for workforce management modernization initiatives while shaping product vision and backlog priorities.
Rate Range$65/hour to $70/hour; negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities- Own end-to-end delivery planning for workforce management modernization projects, including risk, issue, and change management.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and governance documentation to ensure seamless integration across WFS, HRIS, and Payroll systems.
- Collaborate with product leadership and business owners to translate strategic objectives into actionable requirements and maintain a prioritized product backlog.
- Lead Agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement, ensuring sprint planning, release management, and stakeholder alignment.
- Prepare and present executive‑level reports (e.g., Gantt charts, cutover plans) and facilitate governance meetings across multiple levels.
- Coordinate vendor management and cross‑project dependencies, including third‑party integrations, data migration, and system cutovers.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years in IT and 3+ years in program/project management, preferably in workforce management.
- Proven expertise in end-to-end project delivery, including risk, issue, and change management, using tools like Jira, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
- Strong experience in Agile methodologies and backlog management, with hands‑on knowledge of Work Force Software (WFS) configuration and integration.

Pay Details$65.00 to $70.00 per hour.
