The Ford Motor Credit Company team helps put people behind the wheels of great Ford and Lincoln vehicles. In this position, you will define optimum architecture solutions across a variety of engagements such as experimentation, proof of concepts and production deployments, ensuring reuse and alignment with Ford standards and global value delivery framework.

Responsibilities
  • Understand business drivers and capabilities, determining corresponding enterprise system designs and change requirements to drive targeted business outcomes.
  • Assess emerging technology trends and disruptions, applying existing and new technologies to enable evolving business and operating models.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners and managers to support a robust architectural runway for future business requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Define principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns to align solution decisions with the enterprise’s future‑state architecture vision.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint, and document all design and analysis work.
  • Provide deliverables such as standard definitions, reference models, and architecture designs to support the Architecture Review Board (ARB) in evaluating new technology investments.
  • Analyze the business‑IT environment to detect critical deficiencies, legacy issues, and technical debt, recommending solutions for improvement.
  • Support product managers in end‑of‑life product decisions to maintain, refresh, or retire products, services, or systems.
  • Manage and develop architecture for a broader scope of projects or products.
  • Modernize existing on‑prem systems and promote cloud migration.
  • Articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Transform future‑state business capabilities into solution architecture requirements.
  • Apply creative and analytical thinking to solve business problems and propose solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, information technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT solution development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, data management, EDA, and cloud development.
  • Recent 2‑3 years as an Enterprise/Solution Architect.
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments.
  • In‑depth knowledge of full‑stack and microservices architectures; hands‑on experience with Node.js, Express.js, Angular, React, React Native, and Graph

  • Hands‑on experience in at least two of the three cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure.
  • Ability to set up a Dev Ops pipeline for end‑to‑end automated deployment.
  • Strong understanding of high‑performing enterprise web and mobile application development.
  • Preferred: GCP certification.
  • Preferred:
    Knowledge of Salesforce Cloud.
  • Preferred:
    Understanding of Agile, Dev Ops, and Dev Sec Ops .

Salary range: SG5–SG8.

Visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Work arrangement

This position is hybrid (onsite four days per week) for candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location or remote for non‑local candidates.
