We are the Industrial System IT team that leads the digital transformation of engineering and manufacturing to enable Ford to deliver innovative, high-quality products and services. This full‑lifecycle, end‑to‑end initiative modernizes how products are defined, engineered, and manufactured.
This position will manage the interdependencies for the global portfolio and integration across the product lines, coordinate value stream mapping, prioritize the MFG. IT portfolio intake and backlog, facilitate cross‑team planning, ensure adherence to financial planning and reporting requirements, and coordinate allocation of capacity across Ford/Agency and purchase service engagements.
Responsibilities- Lead the development of an integrated MFG. IT cycle plan
- Coordinate the ideation process and intake across business critical capabilities
- Accelerate business value recognition for prioritized investments
- Conduct cross product line planning events
- Handle formal scope definition, KPI identification & tracking and change log
- Lead technical product managers across MFG IT
- Balance demand & capacity allocation across the MFG IT portfolio
- Ensure compliance to Enterprise Tech business office financial forecasting and actuals reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Industrial Systems, Program Management, Computer Science)
- 10+ years driving objective accountability and ownership within cross‑functional teams
- 10+ years’ experience with supplier/purchase service sourcing
- 10+ years in managing complex projects/programs
- 10+ years’ experience working with manufacturing skill team
- 5+ years in sourcing (low‑cost, outsource, insource, etc.) experience
- Understanding of Product Driven System of Delivery
- Strong technical product management discipline
- Politically savvy navigating the organization to achieve outcomes
- Proven ability to lead and empower team members
- Strong organizational and multi‑tasking abilities
- Knowledge of the Ford Production System (FPS) and related processes
- Resourceful and creative
- Experience bringing together business change initiatives and the key enablers
- Experience partnering with enterprise‑level leaders and stakeholders
- Understanding of emerging digital technologies
- Experience modernizing legacy IT infrastructure and applications
- Role model of Ford Truths and Ford+ Behaviors

Visa sponsorship is available for this position.
This role is onsite; you will be required to commute to the office in Dearborn, MI four times a week.
