QA automation lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Dev Ops/Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in infrastructure automation, TTest.

Lead / Automation engineer leading the AI Scheduler testing effort. Job will consist of:

• Reporting and lead duties
• Developing and documenting test cases
• Reporting to Project and business owners
• Automation test development and execution
• Manual Testing

• Collaborates with the internal application teams to develop, recommend and implement test strategies which will include both manual and automated testing
• Create and execute detailed manual test cases from information as related to functional requirements and technical specifications documentation to assure quality and accuracy.
• Lead offshore resources both in automated and manual testing
• Use appropriate tools to test at both the UI and the API level
• Lead and oversee the triage of defects and issues.
• Participate in daily stand‑ups with project team as part of the agile methodology.
• Create appropriate test cases within Test Rail Test Management tool.

• Maintain technology expertise, keeping current with evolving testing tools, techniques, and strategies to improve the overall testing efficiency, processes, and best practices.
• Maintain a focus on customer‑service, efficiency, quality, and growth.
• Safeguard the company's assets.
• Adhere to the company's compliance program.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, processes, and best practices.

• Must have 5+ years of experience as QA test lead.
• Must have 2+ years of automation experience with Selenium.
• Must have 2+ years of SQL experience.
• Experience with BDD using Cucumber.
• Experience coding in Java.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of Jira.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment. Expectations include a high level of initiative and a strong commitment to job knowledge, productivity, and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid software engineering skills — participated in full lifecycle development on large projects.
